DIVER HELMET CERTIFICATIONS ARE USELESS. Every dive, every time a piece of equipment is used. the condition of the helmet is subject to being altered unsafe. So why have the inspection, additional costs, additional pain in the --- to have it done. No one would willingly put a hat on and go over the side knowing it might fail. For hundreds of years a visual inspection and inspection of the equipment is conducted during dress in. Forget about an annual helmet inspection. That's just adding another layer of unnecessary cost. We are not three year olds here.
