Section 5.10 - Eligibility for Membership. This section should include a caveat statement: Membership in the Auxiliary does not entitle a legally admitted Permanent Resident Alien ("Green Card" Holder) to expedited Naturalization processing to United Sates Citizenship that is granted to Active Duty and Reserve members of the United Sates Armed Forces by virtue of their service. Subpart B (Page 27326) Section 5.18 Paragraphs (b) and (c) Compensation paid to Auxiliarist who is injured or dies while of duty provides for compensation at the GS-9 level, it does not specify at which step and this could be a point of confusion in the event that a future claim is filed. It should be noted that there are 10 steps in each GS Grade. OWCP has a maximum payable amount of GS-15 Step 10, even if the claimant is a GS-16 through 18 Federal Employee.
