as a taxpayer and inhabitant of the Great Lakes region I do not wish to wait 5 let alone 22 years for legislation requiring ships traveling in our lakes to be equipped with the necessary technology to keep invasive species from of all kinds out of the Great Lakes. this can and should be done right away. our lakes and people who enjoy them deserve and demand swift implementation.
