I just find 500 yards just a bit too much. Are you not going to be interfering with the general boating public that may just want to look at such a cutting edge craft. Do you really need 500 yards? Have you done some type of study that points to the need of a 500 yard stand-off distance in order to protect the craft? I mean, even CVNs or SSNs get 500 yard stand-off distances...
