Thank you for considering this alteration to the Spokane Street Bridge's schedule to better accomodate rush hour traffic. This bridge is also the only way that West Seattle residents have to bicycle commute to downtown. I have occasionally missed my connecting ferry to Bainbridge Island because of the bridge being turned. I've occasionally chosen NOT to ride to work because of this concern. It's hard enough to encourage people to ride to their job without having to worry that they are going to be seriously late to work.
