I do not understand why our public waters are being closed off to us, the public. While the need to protect the public is needed, denying access because that is the easiest way to do it is wrong. Cruise ships should pay dearly if they feel their is a need to protect their assets and customers, just like the flying public does. But to deny all but a small strip (100 yards of water just next to the ship to the boating public is like killing a gnat with a shotgun. So, come up with another way, or have the cruise ships build a private port where the public is NOT allowed... (private property.) Then i do not care what is done. BTW, if this is allowed, next we will see large swaths of water declared off limits because cargo ships are present. Where will it end? With no private boating allowed on public waterways?????? ?????????????????? Lee
