I have been the wife of a commercial crabber for nineteen years. In all those years I have always trusted in his good judgement on bar crossings. His main goal is to provide for his family (we have three children) and to come home to that family. He does not take chances. But the proposed regulations take away his ability to work the job that provides for his family because they stop him from being able to crab when it is reasonble and safe to cross the bar. Please let him keep working.
