Delta Farms Reclamation District No. 2027

Delta Farms Reclamation District No. 2027 is responsible, among other things, for levee maintenance on Mandeville Island, access to which is made using the bridge that is the subject of the proposed rulemaking as well as the Connection Slough it spans. The proposed rule change will not have a significant impact on the operations or obligations of the District. Accordingly, and in light of the substantial savings in operational costs to be enjoyed by the Tuscany Research Institute, the District fully supports the adoption of the proposed rule for drawbridge operations.
