The Corps of Engineers requests a 30 day extension for the comment period of the RNA . The Corps is currently revaluating the surge elevations which will trigger the implementation of the RNA due to revisions in interim conditions during the 2010 hurricane season at the sector gate cofferdam of the IHNC/Lake Borgne Surge Barrier and concerns regarding overtopping given existing elevations of the system at the West Closure Complex.
