(email dated November 11, 2009) Dear Sirs, On the Proposed Deviation Changes, it is hard enough to manage a tow for the time period already alloted on the port Allen Route. With the increased urbanization and erosion of banks, it would add to an already congested at times situation. There is quite frankly no where to go anymore. School bus safety is of the uttermost importance in all of our minds but so is the safe transit of red flag equiment in the area of interest. Two hours is enough. Please work with the time constraints as mariners already have for years. Thank you for the opportunity to vouce our concerns.
