This request to comment on the Gilmerton Bridge restrictions seems reminescent of the last year's request for comments. It would be desireable for boaters to be able to pass with the hours mentioned but with the addition of one opening at 8:30AM at Gilmerton in order to make the Steel Bridge Hourly opening. In this way, Belhaven, which is 135 statute miles from Norfolk can be reached. Making it thru at 9:30, adds an extra day to the trip. If you wanted to try for the 6:30AM opening, it means getting up at 5:30 in the morning. What a bummer.
