I am a resident of Bayou Liberty, and the owner of a cabin cruiser, which is kept in a boathouse there. At low water, I clear the bridge. At high water, I require an opening. Upon returning from a trip on the boat, I must pull up to the bridge to gauge my clearance under present tidal conditions. If the proposed two hour rule is enacted, I would then have to call for an opening and tie up for two hours to await an opening.
