I understand from a newspaper article that the study will include analysis of proposed wind farms and their affects on maritime traffic. If that is the case, then you should also consider recent research that demonstrates that wind farms block RADAR, which will adversely affect air traffic and is likely to affect maritime traffic as well. I recommend you contact Mr. Mark Surina at U.S. TRANSCOM (mark.surina.ffrdc@ustranscom.mil), as he was part of a team that recently participated in the development of software modeling of wind farm layouts that do not adversely affect RADAR.
