I am commenting on the terrible unintelligent IDEA to open any other parts of the PORT OF TAMPA & HILLSBOROUGH RIVER to any public cruising, boating , sailing, or walking. FOR SAFETY REASONS...it is so much more important to keep the PORT SECURE. The RNC EVENT is rather a big bother and far too costly...I wish it were not coming to TAMPA. We cannot afford to stretch our SECURITY FOLKS OF ALL LEVELS to cover more areas for no other reason that to " walk around or boat around the port". There have been enough warnings of the RNC CROWD AND THE MANY DISGRUNTLED FOLKS ...THAT COMBINATION IS RECEIPE FOR ACCIDENTS AND OTHER UNWISE, PURPOSFUL DESTRUCTION INTENTIONS. I AM TOTALLY AGAINST LOOSENING THE CURRENT RULES IN PLACE. Graciously, Marilyn M Smith
