I would like the coast guard to hold a public meeting on Molokai as soon as possible. Since the rule is active until May of 2012 there should be no reason why the coast guard cannot. I am concerned about this rule and want my community to be able to address the coast guard with questions about it. I was unable to retrieve a "graphic map" of the proposed security zone areas from your website, there is none! I believe the show of force by the coast guard and the state of Hawaii only shows that our state leaders continue to be out of touch with their constuents and their communities. I believe the placing of this security zone especially to provide for an "illegal cruise" ship is unconstitutional as was with the Hawaii Superferry. No EA or EIS was done before the cruise ship entered out port and that is unconstitutional and in direct violation of HRS Chapter 343 and Federal NEPA Law. Furthurmore, as was determined by the Hawaii Supreme Court, current proposed Kaunakakai Harbor Improvements may also be in violation as it relates to the docking of the Safari Explorer.
