This comment is in support of the proposed rule for safety zones during the America's Cup.
This is an important rule for the reason that safety is of the utmost importance. Safety of the participants and the for the other people in and around the area of the race course should be a priority.
This rule will help with safety because it will leave the race course free of vessels that are not in the race or vessels that facilitate the race.
This provides another benefit that will provide for return economic benefits, that if the race is run in a safe manner. It could lead to more races in the area which could benefit the local economy.
