I am extremely supportive of the rule to limit bridge openings during rush hour to military vessels. I have communted from Sequim to Poulsbo for 15-years and can't tell you how frustrating it is to be stoppped at the bridge during peak driving times for nearly an hour for one pleasure craft to pass through from one side to the other. Last summer with the rule in place I believe I was only stopped twice for military vessels. I can say that was a substantial reduction in stoppages at the bridge compared to previous years and a welcome relief to this commuter.
