To Whom It May Concern: Please deny the request of Trirock to close Annapolis Harbor the morning of July 20th for their competitive swimming event. It will greatly hurt our business. We operate USCG-inspected passenger vessels and the water taxi service in Annapolis Harbor. We operate from City Dock in Annapolis. Summer weekends are our busiest time, and we will have vessels moving in and through the impacted area during the proposed closure. We have at least one signed contract for an event that boards at 0815 and departs at 0830 on July 20th. Our water taxi service begins at 0900. We can not honor our contract or operate during such a harbor closure. Summer weekends are our bread and butter. Shutting down all of Annapolis harbor for a Saturday morning in season is as crazy as having people swim in it in the middle of July. Please just say no. Respectfully submitted, Debbie Gosselin
