1 - the increase is too large2 - there should be no increase or only a modest increase for Motions to Reconsider - a Motion to Reconsider submits no additional evidence, it is used in those cases where the Petitioner believes that USCIS has misapplied the law to the facts and reached an incorrect conclusion. When that happens (which it does all too often due to lack of training, etc.), the Petitioner should not have to pay such a large amount to try to convince USCIS it incorrectly adjudicated a petition.
