I write to oppose the proposed changes to the H-2A temporary foreign agricultural worker program. The systematic abuse of foreign and domestic laborers by powerful corporate interests is one of the most important human rights issues of our time. The Department of Labor should enhance, not erode the protections available to our workers under the law.
