I feel very strongly that the proposed new rule is unnecessary because the policies and procedures currently in place already accomplish the stated objectives of the new rule. I feel that the representation is balanced and fair for the farmers and ranchers of our county utllizing the current rules and election process. To appoint one or more members to the County Committee would do just the opposite in that the democratic process would be ignored. I believe that a continuation of the present system is far more beneficial than the proposed new rule.
