my comments are in response to "recissions of manual m21-1 provisions related
to exposure to herbicides based on receipt of the viet-nam service medal"
i feel that the m21-1 manual should indicate that anyone receiving the viet-nam
service medal should receive all benefits entitled under the agent orange act of
1991.reason being by changing a law midstream would only give the v.a. more of
an upperhand in interpreting law to their advantage when they are wrong in
adjudications of claims.because if they are loosing a claim that would entitle vets
to monetary benefits v.a. would just revise the m21-1 manual.so yes i am against
the v.a. making this change at the present time, how it is written.
