I am a Vet Center private contractor and retired military psychologist. I suggest that the rule change allow those of us contracted with the VA to also be allowed to have our written assessments be accepted as official documentation of service connected PTSD for purposes of disability compensation. This would allow a meaningful speed-up of processing claims and compensation to the veteran. This should allow the increasing backlog of claims to actually shrink.
