Absolutely ridiculous to be considering raising pharmaceutical prices when the economy is in such dis-array and, more importantly, generic prescriptions from the vast majority of non-VA pharmacies are in the $4.00 per month and $10.00 per 90 day supplies.
While understand the a higher cost of generics charged by the VA helps compensate for the higher cost of formulary and private brand prescriptions the costs to the veteran should remain as is or even regress to the earlier, base, amount of $7.00.
