Under the proposed rule, VA averages the award for Parkinson's and Leukemias about 100 percent but for ischemic heart disease the average may be about 60 percent. I believe all three should average 100 percent. People with ischemic heart disease (IHD) usually start off with the scare of their life with chest pains, shortness of breath or a full blown heart attack. From there they progress to diet, exercise, medication, stents, bypass surgery and some, heart transplants. This Agent Orange poison adversely affects your life forever. The heart medication that you must take for the rest of your life gives you headaches, indigestion, unregulated bowels and causes erectile dysfunction. The compensation from the VA is similar to a private lawsuit. In the private world the award would be much greater than what the VA is willing to reward. I believe all three illnesses should be awarded at 100 Percent. Thank you for the opportunity.
