I am a GWV and tried to get started in the VA system in 1991/1992. It was such a hard process I never completed it. I recently talked to a vietnam veteran friend who said the system was easier to enroll in and the people were more helpful. I have recently been going to my local clinics and have found the system and people much more helpful then when I tried 20 years ago. I also have numerous health issues I believe to be service related and I am finding good care ad helpful people to navigate the system. I only have read part of the Task Force report and I think it appears to be a good start. Thank you for trying to support us and I hope the bureucratic(spelling) red tape does not hinder further investigations into our illnesses and how to care ad support GWV and our future veterans. Thanks for your time and efforts in trying to determine what the related issues are and what we need to move forward and be physically/healthy productive veterans.
