I fully support the recommended change for an additional clothing allowance for Veterans who have to use more than one orthopedic appliance. I wear knee braces on both knees and will for the rest of my life (I am 44) both of these braces are metal hinged with a rigid structure and both have velcro as well. They do cause damage to pants and shorts. Because I have to wear them anytime I am doing any walking more than a couple of feet, I wear them inside the house as well as outside, so pretty much I wear them continually and they both cause damage to my clothing. Thank you
