I'VE HAD REFLUX ESOPHAGATIS FOR YEARS . IN 1987 THE VA OPERATED ON ME FOR SUCH VIA A FUNDU PLICATION WHICH DID NO GOOD , CUT ME FROM BREAST BONE TO BELLY BUTTON , AND THAT WAS AFTER MONTHS OF DIALATIONS , NOW THEY HAVE ME ON 3 ANTI -ACIDS A DAY , I GO IN FOR PERIODIC ENDOCOPY'S FOR BARRETTS ESOPHAGUS, WITH OUT THE ACID PILLS I'M SOL, HAVE PUT IN FOR DISABLITY FOR REFLUX WITH VA TO KNOW AVAIL. I HAVE ALL THE PAPER WORK FROM OPERATION AND TREATMENTS THAT THEY SENT TO THE ARCHIVES IN GA. WHAT CAN I DO, MY THROAT STAYS OPEN AS LONG AS I STAY ON THE ACID PILLS
