Comment on AO01-Proposed Rule-Maldonado, Jean (Pima Council on Aging)

Provide a clear definintion of "very rural". In Pima County, families living in our rural areas are cut off from public transportation and have long distances to travel that may seem comparitively short (or not "very rural") to folks living in areas with dense populations. Allow non-profit organizations to be funded. Provide funds for multiple years. Allow funding to be available to expand current programs; specifically, funds for operations to inrease staffing, and for mileage reimbursements to allow volunteer drivers to drive longer distances.
