I have been asking my previous representative,"Congressman Walter B. Jones"; about this for the last 3 years. I even laid out a plan for him. It should be for survivors and the family members of veterans who are rated 100% service connected. Why do I say this," VA provides dental to 100% disabled veterans only, why should VA provide family members of a veteran that is only 20% and able to be gainfully employed". Those of us that are 100% unemployable should be the first group to receive the dental for our family. Even if veterans in my category has to pay a monthly premium, I am sure veterans will not mind that. I know in my situation, I have a 3 year old and a wife who I cannot afford dental insurance out here in the civilian world. I have called over half the dental insurance companies out here; they all want to much money and their coverage is horrible. I beg you to please provide us dental insurance for our families. For goodness sack I will be paying a fortune if my little girl needs dental work. I have to provide her check ups and that is expensive with the X-rays.
