This proposed rule is a good idea because it expands pool of veteran’s eligible to receive readjustment counseling. By conforming with the intent of the Caregivers and Veterans Omnibus Health Services Act of 2010. This proposed rule will help ensure that those currently on active duty will receive valuable readjustment counseling. Furthermore, allowing Vet centers to provide referral and advice to those who are not eligible will help soldiers better adjust to civilian life. War is often a very difficult experience emotionally for those who serve our country. The experiences of war do not end on the battlefield but often carry on into civilian life. This proposed rule will be a great way of ensuring that those who have sacrificed so much for our country will get the help that they deserve.
