What this entire process needs to do is to actually create opportunities for legitimate and verified SDVOSB and VOSBs. In the end, that is what matters to all of us. New companies like mine are overlooked for even the smallest of opportunities. When a company gets certified, it should be able to access contracting opportunities for under $25,000, where they can build on crucial past performance requirements that many and most new companies do not have. I am tried of seeing civilian companies gain access to this information and contracting officials dissuade our veterans from these opportunities that could and, from what I have seen, are critical to doing business with the government.
