Details Information

Abstract: We are proposing to amend the regulations for the treatment of plant pests by removing two treatment options that we now believe to be ineffective at neutralizing their target plant pests. A review of these treatments found these options to be ineffective. We are also proposing to remove two treatment schedules that are no longer authorized for use and to clarify the fruits and vegetables on which two methyl bromide treatments may be used. These changes would ensure that ineffective or unauthorized treatments are not used and clarify the regulations.
