Details Information

Abstract: We are amending the regulations for importing animal products to allow the importation of uncooked pork and pork products from regions where classical swine fever (CSF) is considered to exist if the uncooked pork and pork products originate in a region free of CSF and meet certain other conditions with respect to processing and shipping. This action removes some restrictions on the importation of uncooked pork and pork products while continuing to protect against an incursion of CSF into the United States.
