Details Information

Abstract: We are amending the Asian longhorned beetle regulations by quarantining portions of Suffolk and Norfolk Counties, MA, and expanding the quarantined area in Worcester County, MA. As a result of this action, the interstate movement of regulated articles from those areas will be restricted. We are also updating the list of regulated articles in order to reflect new information concerning host plants. These actions are necessary to prevent the artificial spread of the Asian longhorned beetle to noninfested areas of the United States.
