Abstract:	The purpose of this document is to announce the withdrawal of a rulemaking in which the agency had considered establishing a new Federal motor vehicle safety standard for radiator and coolant reservoir caps. After reviewing the available information and given the possible limited and uncertain safety benefits associated with the proposed requirement, the agency has decided to withdraw this rulemaking.
