Abstract:
Ms. Foley Ramsden indicates that the proposed action will help the monkfish fishery achieve optimum yield without harming the stock, provide a steady supply to consumers, and augment income for groundfish vessels. She also indicates that NMFS will be able to monitor landings in real time to see if landings targets will be exceeded.
