Abstract: In this notice, TTB proposes to rename the existing "Yamhill-Carlton District" American Viticultural Area (27 CFR 9.183) as the "Yamhill-Carlton" American viticultural area. TTB proposes this action in response to a petition from local wine industry members, who state that the "Yamhill-Carlton" name better reflects local usage of the area's name. Comments on this notice are due on or before May 3, 2010.
