Details Information

Abstract: In this final rule, TTB amends its wine labeling regulations by adding a number of new names to the list of grape vareity names approved for use in designating American wines, and to include in that list several separate entries for synonyms of existing entries. Also, one mis-spelled grape name is corrected. These amendments will allow wine bottlers to use more grape variety names on wine labels and in wine advertisements. This final rule is effective on November 28, 2011.
