Abstract: In this notice, issued in response to a petition from local wine industry members, the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau proposes to establish the 13,254-acre "Naches Heights" American viticultural area in Yakima County, Washington. We designate viticultural areas to allow vintners to better describe the origin of their wines and to allow consumers to better identify wines they may purchase. Comments on this proposal are due on or before July 25, 2011. NOTE: No comments were received in response to this notice.
