Abstract:
The letter from the original Middleburg Virginia viticultural area petitioner, Rachel E. Martin of Boxwood Winery, supports the inclusion within the proposed area of Casanel Vineyards. This vineyard, as the letter notes, is located on, but just outside of, the originally proposed boundary. This proposed bounary adjustment would add approximately 330 acres of land to the proposed area and add an additional 16.5 acres of vineyards.
