  • § 4281.3 Filing and issuance rules.

    (a) Method of filing. The PBGC applies Filing with PBGC under this part must be made by a method permitted under the rules in subpart A of part 4000 of this chapter to determine permissible methods of filing with the PBGC under this part.

    (b) Method of issuance. For rules on method of issuance to interested parties, see The notices under this part must be issued to participants and beneficiaries by the methods provided in § 4281.32(c) for notices of benefit reductions, § 4281.43(c) for notices of insolvency, and § 4281.45(cd) for notices of insolvency benefit level.

    (c) Date of filing. The PBGC applies the rules in subpart C of part 4000 of this chapter to determine the date that a submission under this part was filed with the PBGC.
