§ 800.205 ConversionCommittee; Chairperson of the Committee; Staff Chairperson.
The term conversion Committee means the exercise of a right inherent in the ownership or holding of particular financial instruments to exchange any such instruments for voting instruments. Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States. The Chairperson of the Committee is the Secretary of the Treasury. The Staff Chairperson of the Committee is the Department of the Treasury official so designated by the Secretary of the Treasury or by the Secretary's designee.
