§ 97.1 Purpose.
This directive part establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures for the release of official DoD information in litigation and for the presentation of witness testimony by Department of Defense (DoD personnel as witnesses during litigation. ) personnel pursuant to 5 U.S.C. 301 and the Supreme Court's decision in United States ex rel.
