(b) Calculating the number of buses which each study carrier has on hand at the end of the year as a percentage of the total number of buses which all study carriers as a group have on hand at the end of the year. (c) Multiplying the average age for each study carrier by that carrier's percentage of total buses on hand at the end of the year. (d) Summing the result of calculation (c) above for each study carrier. The summation gives the weighted average age of buses for “All Study Carriers” taken together as a group.
