    K N Interstate Gas Transmission Co.; Notice of Filing of Report 
    on First Year Storage Operations Under Order No. 636
    
    February 17, 1995.
        Take notice that on February 10, 1995, K N Interstate Gas 
    Transmission Co. (KNI) tendered for filing its report on first year of 
    operation under restructured services pursuant to Order No. 636.
        KNI states that the purpose of this filing is to comply with the 
    Commission's Order on Compliance and Restructuring Rule, issued August 
    2, 1993 in Docket No. RS92-19-000.\1\ The August 2 order directed KNI 
    to file a report within 90 days after the first year of operations 
    under its restructured services indicating the use of the retained 
    pipeline transportation capacity. KNI states that the report is being 
    filed in compliance with the referenced order.

        KNI states that copies of the filing are being served upon all 
    parties in Docket No. RS92-19-000.
        Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
    file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
    Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol Street, NE., Washington, DC 
    20426, in accordance with 18 CFR 385.214 and 385.211 of the 
    Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests should 
    be filed on or before March 10, 1995. Protests will be considered by 
    the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but 
    will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding. Any 
    person wishing to become a party must file a motion to intervene. 
    Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and are available 
    for public inspection in the public reference room.
