AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.
ACTION: Proposed rule.

SUMMARY: This document requests comments on a petition filed by Belt
Broadcasting Company proposing the allotment of Channel 269A to Belt,
Montana, as that community's first local broadcast service. The channel
can be allotted to Belt without a site restriction at coordinates 47-
23-12 NL and 110-55-18 WL. Canadian concurrence will be requested for
the allotment of Channel 269A at Belt.
DATES: Comments must be filed on or before March 22, 1999, and reply
comments on or before April 6, 1999.

of Proposed Rule Making, MM Docket No. 99-17, adopted January 13, 1999,

Provisions of the Regulatory Flexibility Act of 1980 do not apply
to this proceeding.
