Washington; Amendment to Notice of a Major Disaster Declaration

AGENCY: Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: This notice amends the notice of a major disaster for the 
State of Washington, (FEMA-1172-DR), dated April 2 1997, and related 
determinations.

EFFECTIVE DATE: April 21, 1997.

FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT: Magda Ruiz, Response and Recovery

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The notice of a major disaster for the State 
of Washington, is hereby amended to include Public Assistance in those 
areas determined to have been adversely affected by the catastrophe 
declared a major disaster by the President in his declaration of April 
2, 1997:

    The counties of Grays Harbor and Mason for Public Assistance 
(already designated for Individual Assistance and Hazard 
Mitigation).
    The counties of Lincoln, Pacific, Pend Oreille, and Stevens for 
Public Assistance, Individual Assistance and Hazard Mitigation.
    The counties of Clallam, Kitsap, Snohomish, Spokane, and 
Thurston for Individual Assistance and Hazard Mitigation.
    Jefferson County for Public Assistance and Hazard Mitigation.
