    SUMMARY:

    The Defense Logistics Agency proposes to delete a system of records notice from its inventory of record systems subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended.

    DATES:

    This action will be effective without further notice on January 8, 2004, unless comments are received that would result in a contrary determination.

    SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

    The Defense Logistics Agency notices for systems of records subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended, have been published in the Federal Register and are available from the address above.

    The Defense Logistics Agency proposes to delete a system of records notice from its inventory of record systems subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended. The deletion is not within the purview of Start Printed Page 68613subsection (r) of the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended, which requires the submission of a new or altered system report.

    Reason:

    This system is a duplicate of the Office of Government Ethics government-wide systems of records, i.e., OGE/GOVT-1, Executive Branch Personnel Public Financial Disclosure Reports and Other Name-Retrieved Ethics Program Records and OGE/GOVT-2, Executive Branch Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports. Therefore, the DLA notice is being deleted.
