We believe the adoption of a systems approach as an alternative to methyl bromide fumgation will enhance the quality and condition of the grapes at its arrival, avoiding the break in the temperature during the trip and also avoiding the negative effects of the fumigation process. This system approach is not a risk for the phytosanitary rules in USA as well; and will help to protect the global environment by limitating the use of an ozone depleting substance that may contribute to global warming.
